The Potting Shed

The Potting Shed  has become a well-loved place for many people. Set in an 1850s reading room with high, vaulted ceilings, we have created an atmosphere of warmth, welcome and an aesthetic that you will remember.  All this would be nothing without quality food and we pride ourselves on the reputation that we have won since we started.

THE FOOD
Paul cooks all of the meals fresh each day, and we cater for special diets, Coeliac and gluten-intolerant, dairy-free & vegetarian included – where possible anything on the menu can be adapted to suit your dietary requirements, so please feel free to chat to us about it. We’re here to help.
We source the best quality ingredients from our local suppliers, and everything is from within a 30 mile radius. We also grow some of our own fresh herbs, edible flowers and salad veg.

DOGS, WALKERS & CYCLISTS
We don't allow dogs inside, but we are happy for them to join you in the garden, weather permitting.  If you are really muddy from your adventures, we respectfully ask that dirty apparel be removed if it is going to cause a mess inside.
